{"identifier":"/us/usc/t10/s1614","title":10,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1614.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f1614.\nDefinitions\nIn this subchapter:\n(1) The term \u201cdefense intelligence position\u201d means a civilian position as an intelligence officer or intelligence employee of the Department of Defense.\n(2) The term \u201cintelligence component of the Department of Defense\u201d means any of the following:\n(A) The National Security Agency.\n(B) The Defense Intelligence Agency.\n(C) The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.\n(D) Any other component of the Department of Defense that performs intelligence functions and is designated by the Secretary of Defense as an intelligence component of the Department of Defense.\n(E) Any successor to a component specified in, or designated pursuant to, this paragraph.\n(3) The term \u201ccongressional oversight committees\u201d means\u2014\n(A) the Committee on Armed Services and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate;
