Soliciting commission of offenses\n(a)\nSoliciting Commission of Offenses Generally.\u2014\nAny person subject to this chapter who solicits or advises another to commit an offense under this chapter (other than an offense specified in subsection (b)) shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.\n(b)\nSoliciting Desertion, Mutiny, Sedition, or Misbehavior Before the Enemy.\u2014\nAny person subject to this chapter who solicits or advises another to violate\n(1) if the offense solicited or advised is attempted or is committed, shall be punished with the punishment provided for the commission of the offense; and\n(2) if the offense solicited or advised is not attempted or committed, shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.","url":"https://projectusc.org/usc/t10/s882.html","content":[{"t":"sec","id":"/us/usc/t10/s882","children":[{"t":"num","text":"\u00a7\u202f882."},{"t":"heading","text":"Art. 82.
