\u201cCorporation\u201d means the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.\n(2)\nSavings association\nThe term \u201csavings association\u201d means a savings association, as defined in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act [\n12 U.S.C. 1813\n(3)\nFederal savings association\nThe term \u201cFederal savings association\u201d means a Federal savings association or a Federal savings bank chartered under\nsection 1464 of this title\n(4)\nNational bank\nThe term \u201cnational bank\u201d has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act [\n12 U.S.C. 1813\n(5)\nFederal banking agencies\nThe term \u201cFederal banking agencies\u201d means the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.\n(6)\nState\nThe term \u201cState\u201d has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act [\n12 U.S.C. 1813\n(7)\nAffiliate\nThe term \u201caffiliate\u201d means any person that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with, a savings association, except as provided in\nsection 1467a of this title\n(8)\nBoard\nThe term \u201cBoard\u201d, other than in the context of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.\n(9)\nComptroller\nThe term \u201cComptroller\u201d means the Comptroller of the Currency.\n(10)\nAppropriate Federal banking agency\nThe term \u201cappropriate Federal banking agency\u201d has the same meaning as in section 3(q) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (\n12 U.S.C. 1813(q)\n(11)\nFunctionally regulated subsidiary\nThe term \u201cfunctionally regulated subsidiary\u201d has the same meaning as in section
