and\n(B) requires the company to make investments in smaller enterprises primarily engaged in researching, manufacturing, developing, producing, or bringing to market goods, products, or services that generate or support the production of renewable energy.\n(3)\nRenewable energy\nThe term \u201crenewable energy\u201d means energy derived from resources that are regenerative or that cannot be depleted, including solar, wind, ethanol, and biodiesel fuels.\n(4)\nRenewable Fuel Capital Investment company\nThe term \u201cRenewable Fuel Capital Investment company\u201d means a company\u2014\n(A) that\u2014\n(i) has been granted final approval by the Administrator under\nsection 690c(e) of this title\n(ii) has entered into a participation agreement with the Administrator;
