{"identifier":"/us/usc/t15/s6901","title":15,"num":"\u00a7\u202f6901.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f6901.\nDefinitions\nFor purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:\n(1)\nAdministration\nThe term \u201cAdministration\u201d means the Small Business Administration.\n(2)\nAdministrator\nThe term \u201cAdministrator\u201d means the Administrator of the Small Business Administration.\n(3)\nCapacity building services\nThe term \u201ccapacity building services\u201d means services provided to an organization that is, or that is in the process of becoming, a microenterprise development organization or program, for the purpose of enhancing its ability to provide training and services to disadvantaged entrepreneurs.\n(4)\nCollaborative\nThe term \u201ccollaborative\u201d means 2 or more nonprofit entities that agree to act jointly as a qualified organization under this chapter.\n(5)\nDisadvantaged entrepreneur\nThe term \u201cdisadvantaged entrepreneur\u201d means a microentrepreneur that is\u2014\n(A) a low-income person;\n(B) a very low-income person; or\n(C) an entrepreneur that lacks adequate access to capital or other resources essential for business success, or is economically disadvantaged, as determined by the Administrator.\n(6)\nIndian tribe\nThe term \u201cIndian tribe\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 4702 of title 12\n(7)\nIntermediary\nThe term \u201cintermediary\u201d means a private, nonprofit entity that seeks to serve microenterprise development organizations and programs as authorized under\nsection 6904 of this title\n(8)\nLow-income person\nThe term \u201clow-income person\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 4702 of title 12\n(9)\nMicroentrepreneur\nThe term \u201cmicroentrepreneur\u201d means the owner or developer of a microenterprise.\n(10)\nMicroenterprise\nThe term \u201cmicroenterprise\u201d means a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation that\u2014\n(A) has fewer than 5 employees;
