{"identifier":"/us/usc/t16/s272","title":16,"num":"\u00a7\u202f272.","heading":"Establishment of park","text":"\u00a7\u202f272.\nEstablishment of park\n(a)\nIn general\n(1)\nInitial boundaries\nSubject to valid existing rights, the lands, waters, and interests therein within the boundary generally depicted on the map entitled \u201cBoundary Map, Proposed Arches National Park, Utah,\u201d numbered RPSSC\u2013138\u201320, 001E and dated September 1969, are hereby established as the Arches National Park (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cpark\u201d).\n(2)\nExpanded boundaries\nEffective on\nOctober 30, 1998\n(3)\nMaps\nThe maps described in paragraphs (1) and (2) shall be on file and available for public inspection in the offices of the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.\n(b)\nAbolition of Arches National Monument; funds of monument available for park; administration of lands excluded from monument\nThe Arches National Monument is hereby abolished, and any funds available for purposes of the monument shall be available for purposes of the park.
