{"identifier":"/us/usc/t16/s410ll\u20131","title":16,"num":"\u00a7\u202f410ll\u20131.","heading":"Votes for Women Trail","text":"\u00a7\u202f410ll\u20131.\nVotes for Women Trail\n(a)\nDefinitions\nIn this section:\n(1)\nPark\nThe term \u201cPark\u201d means the Women\u2019s Rights National Historical Park established by section 410\nll\n(2)\nSecretary\nThe term \u201cSecretary\u201d means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the National Park Service.\n(3)\nState\nThe term \u201cState\u201d means the State of New York.\n(4)\nTrail\nThe term \u201cTrail\u201d means the Votes for Women History Trail Route designated under subsection (b).\n(b)\nEstablishment of Trail Route\nThe Secretary, with concurrence of the agency having jurisdiction over the relevant roads, may designate a vehicular tour route, to be known as the \u201cVotes for Women History Trail Route\u201d, to link properties in the State that are historically and thematically associated with the struggle for women\u2019s suffrage in the United States.\n(c)\nAdministration\nThe Trail shall be administered by the National Park Service through the Park.\n(d)\nActivities\nTo facilitate the establishment of the Trail and the dissemination of information regarding the Trail, the Secretary shall\u2014\n(1) produce and disseminate appropriate educational materials regarding the Trail, such as handbooks, maps, exhibits, signs, interpretive guides, and electronic information;\n(2) coordinate the management, planning, and standards of the Trail in partnership with participating properties, other Federal agencies, and State and local governments;\n(3) create and adopt an official, uniform symbol or device to mark the Trail; and\n(4) issue guidelines for the use of the symbol or device adopted under paragraph (3).\n(e)\nElements of Trail Route\nSubject to the consent of the owner of the property, the Secretary may designate as an official stop on the Trail\u2014\n(1) all units and programs of the Park relating to the struggle for women\u2019s suffrage;\n(2) other Federal, State, local, and privately owned properties that the Secretary determines have a verifiable connection to the struggle for women\u2019s suffrage;
