{"identifier":"/us/usc/t16/s8401","title":16,"num":"\u00a7\u202f8401.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f8401.\nDefinitions\nIn this chapter:\n(1)\nFederal land management agency\nThe term \u201cFederal land management agency\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 6801 of this title\n(2)\nFederal recreational lands and waters\nThe term \u201cFederal recreational lands and waters\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 6801 of this title\n(3)\nGateway community\nThe term \u201cgateway community\u201d means a community that serves as an entry point, or is adjacent, to a recreation destination on Federal recreational lands and waters or non-Federal land at which there is consistently high, in the determination of the Secretaries, seasonal or year-round visitation.\n(4)\nIndian Tribe\nThe term \u201cIndian Tribe\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 5304 of title 25\n(5)\nLand use plan\nThe term \u201cland use plan\u201d means\u2014\n(A) a land use plan prepared by the Secretary pursuant to\nsection 1712 of title 43\n(B) a land management plan prepared by the Forest Service for a unit of the National Forest Service pursuant to\nsection 1604 of this title\n(6)\nSecretaries\nThe term \u201cSecretaries\u201d means each of\u2014\n(A) the Secretary; and\n(B) the Secretary of Agriculture.\n(7)\nSecretary\nThe term \u201cSecretary\u201d means the Secretary of the Interior.\n(8)\nSecretary concerned\nThe term \u201cSecretary concerned\u201d means\u2014\n(A) the Secretary, with respect to land under the jurisdiction of the Secretary;
