{"identifier":"/us/usc/t16/s8424","title":16,"num":"\u00a7\u202f8424.","heading":"Restoration of overnight campsites","text":"\u00a7\u202f8424.\nRestoration of overnight campsites\n(a)\nDefinitions\nIn this section:\n(1)\nRecreation Area\nThe term \u201cRecreation Area\u201d means the recreation area and grounds associated with the recreation area on the map entitled \u201cOuachita National Forest Camping Restoration\u201d and dated\nNovember 30, 2023\n(2)\nSecretary\nThe term \u201cSecretary\u201d means the Secretary of Agriculture.\n(b)\nIn general\nThe Secretary shall\u2014\n(1) not later than 6 months after\nJanuary 4, 2025\n(2) not later than 2 years after\n(A) review each area identified under paragraph (1); and\n(B) from the areas so identified, select and establish at least 27 campsites and related facilities within the Recreation Area for public use.\n(c)\nRequirements related to campsites and related facilities\nThe Secretary shall\u2014\n(1) ensure that at least 27 campsites are available under subsection (b), of which not less than 8 shall have electric and water hookups;
