{"identifier":"/us/usc/t19/s3905","title":19,"num":"\u00a7\u202f3905.","heading":"Importing and exporting authorities","text":"\u00a7\u202f3905.\nImporting and exporting authorities\n(a)\nIn the United States\nFor purposes of this chapter\u2014\n(1) the importing authority shall be the United States Bureau of Customs and Border Protection or, in the case of a territory or possession of the United States with its own customs administration, analogous officials; and\n(2) the exporting authority shall be the Bureau of the Census.\n(b)\nOf other countries\nThe President shall publish in the Federal Register a list of all Participants, and all exporting authorities and importing authorities of Participants.
