{"identifier":"/us/usc/t2/s6137","title":2,"num":"\u00a7\u202f6137.","heading":"Transfer of funds from appropriations account of Majority and Minority Leaders of Senate to appropriations account, Miscellaneous Items, within Senate contingent fund","text":"\u00a7\u202f6137.\nTransfer of funds from appropriations account of Majority and Minority Leaders of Senate to appropriations account, Miscellaneous Items, within Senate contingent fund\n(a)\nRequests for transfers\nUpon the written request of the Majority or Minority Leader of the Senate, the Secretary of the Senate shall transfer during any fiscal year, from the appropriations account appropriated under the headings \u201cSalaries, Officers and Employees\u201d and \u201cOffices of the Majority and Minority Leaders\u201d, such amount as either Leader shall specify to the appropriations account, within the contingent fund of the Senate, \u201cMiscellaneous Items\u201d.\n(b)\nAuthority to incur expenses\nThe Majority and Minority Leaders of the Senate are each authorized to incur such expenses as may be necessary or appropriate.
