and\n(B) the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives.\n(3)\nCorrespondent account; payable-through account\nThe terms \u201ccorrespondent account\u201d and \u201cpayable-through account\u201d have the meanings given those terms in\nsection 5318A of title 31\n(4)\nForeign financial institution\nThe term \u201cforeign financial institution\u201d has the meaning of that term as determined by the Secretary of the Treasury by regulation.\n(5)\nForeign person\nThe term \u201cforeign person\u201d means a person that is not a United States person.\n(6)\nKnowingly\nThe term \u201cknowingly\u201d, with respect to conduct, a circumstance, or a result, means that a person has actual knowledge, or should have known, of the conduct, the circumstance, or the result.\n(7)\nPerson\nThe term \u201cperson\u201d means an individual or entity.\n(8)\nSupport\nThe term \u201csupport\u201d, with respect to the Burmese military, means to knowingly have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of the Burmese military.\n(9)\nUnited States person\nThe term \u201cUnited States person\u201d means\u2014\n(A) a United States citizen or an alien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence;\n(B) an entity organized under the laws of the United States or any jurisdiction within the United States, including a foreign branch of such an entity;
