{"identifier":"/us/usc/t22/s10309","title":22,"num":"\u00a7\u202f10309.","heading":"Post Data Pilot Program","text":"\u00a7\u202f10309.\nPost Data Pilot Program\n(a)\nPost Data and AI Pilot Program\n(1)\nEstablishment\nThe Secretary is authorized to establish a program, which shall be known as the \u201cPost Data Program\u201d (referred to in this section as the \u201cProgram\u201d), that shall be overseen by the Department\u2019s Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer.\n(2)\nGoals\nThe goals of the Program shall include the following:\n(A) Cultivating a data and artificial intelligence culture at diplomatic posts globally, including data fluency and data collaboration.\n(B) Promoting data integration with Department of State Headquarters.\n(C) Creating operational efficiencies, supporting innovation, and enhancing mission impact.\n(b)\nImplementation plan\n(1)\nIn general\nNot later than 180 days after\n(A) advancing the goals described in subsection (a)(2);\n(B) hiring data and artificial intelligence officers at United States diplomatic posts; and\n(C) allocation of necessary resources to sustain the Program.\n(2)\nAnnual reporting requirement\nNot later than 180 days after\nDecember 18, 2025\n(c)\nAppropriate congressional committees defined\nIn this section, the term \u201cappropriate congressional committees\u201d means\u2014\n(1) the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives;
