{"identifier":"/us/usc/t22/s1641","title":22,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1641.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f1641.\nDefinitions\nAs used in this subchapter the term\u2014\n(1) \u201cPerson\u201d means a natural person, partnership, association, other unincorporated body, corporation, or body politic.\n(2) \u201cNational of the United States\u201d means (A) a natural person who is a citizen of the United States, or who owes permanent allegiance to the United States, and (B) a corporation or other legal entity which is organized under the laws of the United States, any State or Territory thereof, or the District of Columbia, if natural persons who are nationals of the United States own, directly or indirectly, more than 50 per centum of the outstanding capital stock or other beneficial interest in such legal entity.
