{"identifier":"/us/usc/t22/s2522","title":22,"num":"\u00a7\u202f2522.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f2522.\nDefinitions\nIn this chapter:\n(1) The term \u201cabroad\u201d means any area outside the United States.\n(2) The term \u201cfunction\u201d includes any duty, obligation, right, power, authority, responsibility, privilege, discretion, activity, and program.\n(3) The term \u201chealth care\u201d includes all appropriate examinations, preventive, curative and restorative health and medical care, and supplementary services when necessary.\n(4) The term \u201cmedical officer\u201d means a physician, nurse practitioner, physician\u2019s assistant, or registered nurse with the professional qualifications, expertise, and abilities consistent with the needs of the Peace Corps and the post to which he or she is assigned, as determined by the Director of the Peace Corps.\n(5) The word \u201ctransportation\u201d in sections 2504(b), 2504(m),\n1\n1 So in original.
