{"identifier":"/us/usc/t29/s1031","title":29,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1031.","heading":"Repeal and effective date","text":"\u00a7\u202f1031.\nRepeal and effective date\n(a)\n(1) The Welfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act [\n29 U.S.C. 301\n(2)\n(A) Section 664 of title 18\n(B)\n(i) Section 1027 of such title 18 is amended by striking out \u201cWelfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act\u201d and inserting in lieu thereof \u201ctitle I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974\u201d, and by striking out \u201cAct\u201d each place it appears and inserting in lieu thereof \u201ctitle\u201d.\n(ii) The heading for such section is amended by striking out \u201c\nwelfare and pension plans disclosure act\nemployee retirement income security act of 1974\u201d.\n(iii) The table of sections of chapter 47 of such title 18 is amended by striking out \u201cWelfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act\u201d in the item relating to section 1027 and inserting in lieu thereof \u201cEmployee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974\u201d.\n(C) Section 1954 of such title 18 is amended by striking out \u201cany plan subject to the provisions of the Welfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act as amended\u201d and inserting in lieu thereof \u201cany employee welfare benefit plan or employee pension benefit plan, respectively, subject to any provision of title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974\u201d; and by striking out \u201csections 3(3) and 5(b)(1) and (2) of the Welfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act, as amended\u201d and inserting in lieu thereof \u201csections 3(4) and (3)(16)\n1\n1 So in original.
