{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s1012","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1012.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f1012.\nDefinitions\nIn this subchapter:\n(1)\nWorld War II veteran\nThe term \u201cWorld War II veteran\u201d means a person who\u2014\n(A) served during World War II\u2014\n(i) in the active military, naval, or air service of the United States during World War II; or\n(ii) in the organized military forces of the Government of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, while the forces were in the service of the Armed Forces of the United States pursuant to the military order of the President dated\nJuly 26, 1941\nDecember 31, 1946\n(B) was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable\u2014\n(i) after service of 90 days or more;
