{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s13102","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f13102.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f13102.\nDefinitions\nFor purposes of this chapter\u2014\n(1) The term \u201cAdministrator\u201d means the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.\n(2) The term \u201cAgency\u201d means the Environmental Protection Agency.\n(3) The term \u201ctoxic chemical\u201d means any substance on the list described in\nsection 11023(c) of this title\n(4) The term \u201crelease\u201d has the same meaning as provided by\nsection 11049(8) of this title\n(5)\n(A) The term \u201csource reduction\u201d means any practice which\u2014\n(i) reduces the amount of any hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant entering any waste stream or otherwise released into the environment (including fugitive emissions) prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal;
