{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s15066","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f15066.","heading":"Authorization of appropriations","text":"\u00a7\u202f15066.\nAuthorization of appropriations\n(a)\nAuthorization and reservations\n(1)\nAuthorization\nThere are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this part (other than\nsection 15063(c)(4) of this title\n(2)\nReservation for training initiatives\nFrom any amount appropriated for a fiscal year under paragraph (1) and remaining after each Center described in\nsection 15062(a) of this title\nsection 15062 of this title\nsection 15063(b) of this title\n(3)\nReservation for technical assistance\n(A)\nYears before appropriation trigger\nFor any covered year, the Secretary shall reserve funds in accordance with\nsection 15083(c) of this title\nsection 15063(c) of this title\nsection 15063(c)(4) of this title\n(B)\nYears after appropriation trigger\nFor any fiscal year that is not a covered year, the Secretary shall reserve not less than $300,000 and not more than 2 percent of the amount appropriated under paragraph (1) to fund technical assistance activities under\nsection 15063(c) of this title\nsection 15063(c)(4) of this title\n(C)\nCovered year\nIn this paragraph, the term \u201ccovered year\u201d means a fiscal year prior to the first fiscal year for which the amount appropriated under paragraph (1) is not less than $20,000,000.\n(b)\nLimitation\nThe Secretary may not use, for peer review or other activities directly related to peer review conducted under this part\u2014\n(1) for fiscal year 2001, more than $300,000 of the funds made available under subsection (a);
