{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s1766a","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1766a.","heading":"Meal supplements for children in afterschool care","text":"\u00a7\u202f1766a.\nMeal supplements for children in afterschool care\n(a)\nGeneral authority\n(1)\nGrants to States\nThe Secretary shall carry out a program to assist States through grants-in-aid and other means to provide meal supplements under a program organized primarily to provide care for children in afterschool care in eligible elementary and secondary schools.\n(2)\nEligible schools\nFor the purposes of this section, the term \u201celigible elementary and secondary schools\u201d means schools that\u2014\n(A) operate school lunch programs under this chapter;\n(B) sponsor afterschool care programs;
