{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s18771","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f18771.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f18771.\nDefinitions\nIn this subchapter:\n(1)\nAdministrator\nThe term \u201cAdministrator\u201d means the Administrator of the Energy Information Administration.\n(2)\nAnnual Critical Minerals Outlook\nThe term \u201cAnnual Critical Minerals Outlook\u201d means the Annual Critical Minerals Outlook prepared under\nsection 1606(j)(1)(B) of title 30\n(3)\nCritical mineral\nThe term \u201ccritical mineral\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 1606(a) of title 30\n(4)\nHousehold energy burden\nThe term \u201chousehold energy burden\u201d means the quotient obtained by dividing\u2014\n(A) the residential energy expenditures (as defined in section 440.3 of title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (as in effect on\nNovember 15, 2021\n(B) the annual income of that household.\n(5)\nHousehold with a high energy burden\nThe term \u201chousehold with a high energy burden\u201d has the meaning given the term in section 440.3 of title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (as in effect on\nNovember 15, 2021\n(6)\nLarge manufacturing facility\nThe term \u201clarge manufacturing facility\u201d means a manufacturing facility that\u2014\n(A) annually consumes more than 35,000 megawatt-hours of electricity; or\n(B) has a peak power demand of more than 10 megawatts.\n(7)\nLoad-serving entity\nThe term \u201cload-serving entity\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 824q(a) of title 16\n(8)\nMiscellaneous electric load\nThe term \u201cmiscellaneous electric load\u201d means electricity that\u2014\n(A) is used by an appliance or device\u2014\n(i) within a building;
