{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/s6372","title":42,"num":"\u00a7\u202f6372.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f6372.\nDefinitions\nFor purposes of this part\u2014\n(1) The terms \u201chospital\u201d, \u201cState\u201d, \u201cschool\u201d, \u201cGovernor\u201d, \u201cState energy agency\u201d, \u201cenergy conservation measure\u201d, \u201cenergy conservation maintenance and operating procedure\u201d, \u201cpreliminary energy audit\u201d, \u201ctechnical assistance costs\u201d, \u201cenergy audit\u201d and \u201cSecretary\u201d have the meanings provided in\nsection 6371 of this title\n(2) The term \u201cunit of local government\u201d means the government of a county, municipality, or township, which is a unit of general purpose government below the State (determined on the basis of the same principles as are used by the Bureau of the Census for general statistical purposes) and the District of Columbia.
