and\n(B) the District of Columbia.\n(10)\nState office\nThe term \u201cState office\u201d means any unit of State government that handles the identification, mapping, assessment, and research of landslide hazards or responding to landslide events, including\u2014\n(A) a State geological survey office;\n(B) a State department of emergency response;
