{"identifier":"/us/usc/t47/s251a","title":47,"num":"\u00a7\u202f251a.","heading":"State authority over fees","text":"\u00a7\u202f251a.\nState authority over fees\n(a)\nAuthority\n(1)\nIn general\nNothing in this Act, any amendment made by this Act, the Communications Act of 1934 (\n47 U.S.C. 151\n43 U.S.C. 1601\n(2)\nUse of 9\u20138\u20138 funds\nA fee or charge collected under this subsection shall only be imposed, collected, and used to pay expenses that a State, a political subdivision of a State, an Indian Tribe, or village or regional corporation serving a region established pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (\n(A) ensuring the efficient and effective routing of calls made to the 9\u20138\u20138 national suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline to an appropriate crisis center;
