{"identifier":"/us/usc/t5/s420","title":5,"num":"\u00a7\u202f420.","heading":"Information on websites of Offices of Inspectors General","text":"\u00a7\u202f420.\nInformation on websites of Offices of Inspectors General\n(a)\nDirect Links to Inspectors General Offices.\u2014\n(1)\nIn general.\u2014\nEach Federal agency and designated Federal entity shall establish and maintain on the homepage of the website of that Federal agency or designated Federal entity, a direct link to the website of the Office of the Inspector General of that Federal agency or designated Federal entity.\n(2)\nAccessibility.\u2014\nThe direct link under paragraph (1) shall be obvious and facilitate accessibility to the website of the Office of the Inspector General.\n(b)\nRequirements for Inspectors General Websites.\u2014\n(1)\nPosting of reports and audits.\u2014\nThe Inspector General of each Federal agency and designated Federal entity shall\u2014\n(A) not later than 3 days after any audit report, inspection report, or evaluation report (or portion of any such report) is submitted in final form to the head of the Federal agency or the head of the designated Federal entity, as applicable, post that report (or portion of that report) on the website of the Office of Inspector General; and\n(B) ensure that any posted report (or portion of that report) described under subparagraph (A)\u2014\n(i) is easily accessible from a direct link on the homepage of the website of the Office of the Inspector General;\n(ii) includes a summary of the findings of the Inspector General; and\n(iii) is in a format that\u2014\n(I) is searchable and downloadable; and\n(II) facilitates printing by individuals of the public accessing the website.\n(2)\nReporting of fraud, waste, and abuse.\u2014\n(A)\nIn general.\u2014\nThe Inspector General of each Federal agency and designated Federal entity shall establish and maintain a direct link on the homepage of the website of the Office of the Inspector General for individuals to report fraud, waste, and abuse.
