{"identifier":"/us/usc/t50/s1841","title":50,"num":"\u00a7\u202f1841.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f1841.\nDefinitions\nAs used in this subchapter:\n(1) The terms \u201cforeign power\u201d, \u201cagent of a foreign power\u201d, \u201cinternational terrorism\u201d, \u201cforeign intelligence information\u201d, \u201cAttorney General\u201d, \u201cUnited States person\u201d, \u201cUnited States\u201d, \u201cperson\u201d, and \u201cState\u201d shall have the same meanings as in\nsection 1801 of this title\n(2) The terms \u201cpen register\u201d and \u201ctrap and trace device\u201d have the meanings given such terms in\nsection 3127 of title 18\n(3) The term \u201caggrieved person\u201d means any person\u2014\n(A) whose telephone line was subject to the installation or use of a pen register or trap and trace device authorized by this subchapter; or\n(B) whose communication instrument or device was subject to the use of a pen register or trap and trace device authorized by this subchapter to capture incoming electronic or other communications impulses.\n(4)\n(A) The term \u201cspecific selection term\u201d\u2014\n(i) is a term that specifically identifies a person, account, address, or personal device, or any other specific identifier;
