and\n(C) the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives.\n(2)\nCongressional leadership\nThe term \u201ccongressional leadership\u201d includes the following:\n(A) The majority leader of the Senate.\n(B) The minority leader of the Senate.\n(C) The Speaker of the House of Representatives.\n(D) The minority leader of the House of Representatives.\n(3)\nSecurity vulnerability\nThe term \u201csecurity vulnerability\u201d has the meaning given such term in\nsection 650 of title 6\n(b)\nIn general\nThe Director of National Intelligence, in coordination with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Director of the National Security Agency, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the heads of other relevant elements of the intelligence community, shall\u2014\n(1) commence not later than 1 year before any regularly scheduled Federal election occurring after\nDecember 31, 2018\n(2) not later than 180 days before any regularly scheduled Federal election occurring after\n(A) congressional leadership; and\n(B) the appropriate congressional committees.\n(c)\nUpdate\nNot later than 90 days before any regularly scheduled Federal election occurring after\n(1) update the assessment of foreign intelligence threats to that election;
