{"identifier":"/us/usc/t7/s198","title":7,"num":"\u00a7\u202f198.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f198.\nDefinitions\nExcept as provided in\n(1)\nMarket\nThe term \u201cmarket\u201d means the sale or disposition of swine, pork, or pork products in commerce.\n(2)\nPacker\nThe term \u201cpacker\u201d has the meaning given the term in\nsection 1635i of this title\n(3)\nPork\nThe term \u201cpork\u201d means the meat of a porcine animal.\n(4)\nPork product\nThe term \u201cpork product\u201d means a product or byproduct produced or processed in whole or in part from pork.\n(5)\nState\nThe term \u201cState\u201d means each of the 50 States.\n(6)\nSwine\nThe term \u201cswine\u201d means a porcine animal raised to be a feeder pig, raised for seedstock, or raised for slaughter.\n(7)\nType of contract\nThe term \u201ctype of contract\u201d means the classification of contracts or risk management agreements for the purchase of swine by\u2014\n(A) the mechanism used to determine the base price for swine committed to a packer, grouped into practicable classifications by the Secretary (including swine or pork market formula purchases, other market formula purchases, and other purchase arrangements);
