{"identifier":"/us/usc/t7/s241","title":7,"num":"\u00a7\u202f241.","heading":"Definitions","text":"\u00a7\u202f241.\nDefinitions\nIn this chapter:\n(1)\nAgricultural product\nThe term \u201cagricultural product\u201d means an agricultural commodity, as determined by the Secretary, including a processed product of an agricultural commodity.\n(2)\nApproval\nThe term \u201capproval\u201d means the consent provided by the Secretary for a person to engage in an activity authorized by this chapter.\n(3)\nDepartment\nThe term \u201cDepartment\u201d means the Department of Agriculture.\n(4)\nElectronic document\nThe term \u201celectronic document\u201d means a document that is generated, sent, received, or stored by electronic, optical, or similar means, including electronic data interchange, electronic mail, telegram, telex, or telecopy.\n(5)\nElectronic receipt\nThe term \u201celectronic receipt\u201d means a receipt that is authorized by the Secretary to be issued or transmitted under this chapter in the form of an electronic document.\n(6)\nHolder\nThe term \u201cholder\u201d means a person that has possession in fact or by operation of law of a receipt or any electronic document.\n(7)\nPerson\nThe term \u201cperson\u201d means\u2014\n(A) a person (as defined in\nsection 1 of title 1\n(B) a State;
