{"identifier":"/us/usc/t7/s3007","title":7,"num":"\u00a7\u202f3007.","heading":"Seniors farmers\u2019 market nutrition program","text":"\u00a7\u202f3007.\nSeniors farmers\u2019 market nutrition program\n(a)\nFunding\nOf the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary of Agriculture shall use to carry out and expand the seniors farmers\u2019 market nutrition program $20,600,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 through 2023.\n(b)\nProgram purposes\nThe purposes of the seniors farmers\u2019 market nutrition program are\u2014\n(1) to provide resources in the form of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs from farmers\u2019 markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture programs to low-income seniors;\n(2) to increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities by expanding or aiding in the expansion of domestic farmers\u2019 markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture programs;
