means the Lime Board provided for under\nsection 6204(b) of this title\n(2)\nConsumer information\nThe term \u201cconsumer information\u201d means any action taken to provide information to, and broaden the understanding of, the general public regarding the use, nutritional attributes, and care of limes.\n(3)\nHandle\nThe term \u201chandle\u201d means to sell, purchase, or package limes.\n(4)\nHandler\nThe term \u201chandler\u201d means any person in the business of handling limes.\n(5)\nImporter\nThe term \u201cimporter\u201d means any person who imports limes into the United States.\n(6)\nLime\nThe term \u201clime\u201d means the fruit of a citrus latifolia tree for the fresh market.\n(7)\nMarketing\nThe term \u201cmarketing\u201d means the sale or other disposition of limes in commerce.\n(8)\nOrder\nThe term \u201corder\u201d means a lime research, promotion, and consumer information order issued by the Secretary under\nsection 6203(a) of this title\n(9)\nPerson\nThe term \u201cperson\u201d means any individual, group of individuals, partnership, corporation, association, cooperative, or other legal entity.\n(10)\nProducer\nThe term \u201cproducer\u201d means any person who produces limes in the United States for sale in commerce.\n(11)\nProducer-handler\nThe term \u201cproducer-handler\u201d means any person who is both a producer and handler of limes.\n(12)\nPromotion\nThe term \u201cpromotion\u201d means any action taken under this chapter (including paid advertising) to present a favorable image for limes to the general public with the express intent of improving the competitive position and stimulating the sale of limes.\n(13)\nResearch\nThe term \u201cresearch\u201d means any type of research relating to the use and nutritional value of limes and designed to advance the image, desirability, marketability, or quality of limes.\n(14)\nSecretary\nThe term \u201cSecretary\u201d means the Secretary of Agriculture.\n(15)\nState and United States\nThe term\u2014\n(A) \u201cState\u201d means each of the 50 States of the United States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and\n(B) \u201cUnited States\u201d means the 50 States of the United States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto
