Definitions
As used in this part—
(1)
“Executive agency” has the meaning given that term in section 105 of title 5;
(2)
“uniformed services” has the meaning given that term in section 2101(3) of title 5;
(3)
“competitive service” has the meaning given that term in section 2102 of title 5; and
(4)
“United States”, when used in a geographic sense, means each of the several States and the District of Columbia.
